An health issue that Mum was dealing with before her admission to hospital seems to have flared up despite her warnings to doctors who withheld prescribed medication due to ‘protocol’.
Hmm, hang on a minute, isn’t the role, duty and obligation of hospital staff to expedite the recovery of patients, rather than to withhold their medication and encourage illness to develop further?
Very bizarre circumstances, though it’s good to see her optimism and positivity around the who situation as nurses promptly moved her to a separate room, with this view after confirming what she’s been warning them about for days.
If it were myself I’d be shouting “Can we get someone qualified in here, please? Apart from myself…”
Another late night, at least I forced myself to have pizza which is becoming rarer and rarer on a Thursday.
