Dem feels.
The devastating moment when you learn that someone with a special place in your heart is out of reach, just as you reach out to express how you’ve felt about them for well over a year.
Devastating because fear is indeed stronger than hope, the same fear that cripples me in the search for my soulmate, while the same confidence that’s required is available in healthy supply for other areas in my life.
Something I need to work on from this year onwards, in the quest to become a complete person.
